High Rock

• Protocol for flight operations at High Rock
  During those periods in which the CHGPA has been granted a waiver allowing operations within the TFR that surrounds P-40, a limited number of area pilots are now allowed to fly at High Rock. These flights, however, are subject to a very strict protocol: follow the link above for details. A Site Manager must be present at High Rock to coordinate flight activities, and only those pilots named in the waiver are allowed to fly. Do not even think about flying High Rock until you've reviewed this material.

• You may register here in order to be included in the waiver requests that are periodically submitted to the Secret Service and the FAA, for flight operations at High Rock.

• This PowerPoint Presentation is what Joe G. has been pitching to the powers-that-be in order to secure a waiver allowing us to fly within the High Rock TFR.

• High Rock Closures Due To TFRs Around P-40
  The large TFR around P-40 has basically been in effect continuously since 9/11/2001, so the information provided here for determining whether a TFR exists is pretty much moot. However, this writeup has some good background about P-40 (location, size, etc), so we`re leaving it up for now. See the flight operations protocol above for definitive info about flying at High Rock.
